The full Gran Fondo course will extend for about 118 km with an elevation gain of over 2700 meters, while the Medio Fondo will be a reduced but still challenging option for those who prefer a less intense challenge.

 

 

The most iconic climbs of the route include:

1. The Ghisallo: A legendary climb, known for its steep gradient and the Santuario della Madonna del Ghisallo, patron saint of cyclists. The winding road and breathtaking views of Lake Como make this section a true icon of Italian cycling.
2. The Colma di Sormano: The second key climb of the race, with steep sections that will test even the most prepared cyclists.
3. The Muro di Sormano (optional): With gradients reaching up to 27%, the Muro di Sormano is one of the toughest climbs in the world. Although optional for amateurs, it remains a true challenge for the bravest.
4. The Civiglio: The last major climb before the descent to the finish in Como. A challenge for legs and lungs, with gradients nearing 10%.
