Description:

A circular cycling route immersed in the beauty of the Bergamasque Prealps, ideal for experienced cyclists in search of breathtaking views and quiet roads.

The ride starts from Bergamo, gently climbing through the Imagna Valley until reaching Berbenno, an ancient village nestled among the mountains.

The route then continues through the wild and fascinating Taleggio Valley, characterized by narrow gorges, dense woods, and unspoiled landscapes, with glimpses that reward every effort.

From here, a more demanding climb begins, leading to Dossena, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys.

You ride along gentle curves and shaded stretches until reaching the pass that leads to the renowned tourist resort of Selvino. This section, more open and breezy, offers wide vistas over the Bergamo plain and the Val Seriana side.

From Selvino, you descend along the famous "Descent of Champions" toward Bergamo, with panoramic switchbacks and smooth asphalt—perfect for relaxing after the effort of the previous climbs.

The route ends where it began, completing a varied and engaging loop among nature, charming villages, and mountain roads: a perfect adventure for those seeking a rewarding cycling challenge in one of the most authentic corners of Lombardy.
