Description:

After leaving Bergamo, the route features a steady climb towards Selvino with an average gradient of around 5-7%. The road is paved and fairly wide, allowing good circulation for cyclists.
The most challenging part of the route is the climb with switchbacks dedicated to Bergamo cyclists. This is a steep climb with an average gradient of around 10-12%, characterized by numerous tight and steep switchbacks.
After the peak of the climb, the route continues with a transfer towards Valle Rossa, featuring a gentle and steady 8 km climb, not very demanding technically but splendid in terms of scenery.

At the summit, the view becomes wonderful as you overlook Lake Endine. The descent is particularly technical, but the roads are well-paved and not very busy.
Finally, the route returns to Bergamo through Val Cavallina.

The route manages to be technically interesting in an excellent natural setting while remaining moderate in terms of distance. It is an enjoyable experience that allows cyclists to sample significant climbs and requires a moderate level of physical preparation.
